The passengers who arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from Thursday (14/10/2014) will be checked in order to prevent the spread of the ebola virus.

Inspection will be focused to pinpoint ebola symptoms on passengers arriving at London's main airport.

The assurance was delivered by Health Minister Jeremy Hunt. According to him, the immigration officer will identify the passengers who came from Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea, three African countries that experienced the worst outbreak.
"This step will begin tomorrow at Heathrow's Terminal One which receives about 85 percent of passengers from those countries who arrived at Heathrow Airport," said Hunt in hearings in the lower House, Monday.

Ahead of the weekend, the same measures will be applied to other terminals at Heathrow Airport and Gatwick Airport.
